COLD HEADING

PMIeng provides Cold Heading to a variety of industries.

Cold heading is a processes that starts with wire up to 1-3/8” diameter, where the cold heading equipment, through a series of progressions, cuts, draws, upsets the wire to make various shapes, often used for specialty fasteners and round parts under 17” long.
